1. Information we collect

Account information. Name, work email, phone number, company name and role, provided when you book a demo or create an account.

Business data. Data from the systems you connect, such as point of sale, delivery, payroll, banks and accounting. This includes sales, invoices, payroll totals and ledger entries for your locations.

Usage data. Device, browser, IP address, pages visited and actions taken in the service, collected through logs and essential cookies.

2. How we use it

• Provide the service: reconcile, categorise and report on your books by location.
• Send the alerts, reports and approval requests you set up.
• Secure accounts, prevent fraud and fix problems.
• Improve the service, using aggregated or de-identified data.
• Meet legal, tax and audit obligations.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your business data for advertising. We do not use it to train models for other customers.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Service providers that host, secure and support Finz, under written agreements that limit their use of the data.
• Systems you connect, when you ask Finz to post an approved entry or payment.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• A buyer or successor, if Finz is part of a merger or acquisition, under this policy.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited by role and logged. Finz posts to your accounting system only what an authorised user approves.

6. Retention

We keep business data for as long as your account is active, then delete or return it within 90 days of a written request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email hello@finzgroup.com. We reply within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the site secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

Finz is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email before the change takes effect.
